Christine Borgen
Christine is married to fellow runner Chris, and originally hails from the States. She re-started running in support of this event but has previously completed the full Alaska marathon (quite a few years ago!) but really enjoying getting back into the sport and feeling healthier for it.
Her hobbies are family, socialising, travelling and reading and she, like Chris, has registered for some 10km events in the coming year as well.
30th October – Can’t wait for Nice! Warmed up with a slow-but-steady 10k at the Lausanne Marathon on Sunday 27th October. Since resuming running after a gap of 15 years, in April this year to prepare for the GIVEWATTS fundraiser, I had only run a maximum of 6kms. I am stiff as a board!!!
