Phil began his career in financial services working for an international firm of Accountants with offices in the City of London and New York City. As a Manager in the Personal Tax Department he advised personalities in the entertainment and arts world and helped form the Financial Planning Department.

In 1991 he moved to another international firm as the Private Clients Manager when they established an Expatriate Office in Malta and has worked in the expatriate market since then.

Phil believes that:

• The Globalisation of investment markets has changed the nature of investment management. This is because many asset classes and markets are inter-related. Expert Discretionary Managers are therefore, vital.
• The best Tax Planning in the World is of little use if investment portfolios underperform and charges are not minimized.
• Thorough understanding of clients’ risk profile and capacity for loss is also of utmost importance.
• He enjoys working with expat clients and is passionate about service and standards.
